According to Anais, Roger is doing very well. Yesterday she told me that they were going to bring down his sedation and although he is still on life support, today he is showing improvement. Today he is beginning to do more commands and trying to open his eyes. It is going to be a long process for him to get back on his feet and i am positive he will make it through. Progress is definitely good news since the past week was full of ups and downs.
This is kind of off the subject of Roger, but it was such coincidence. Last week, my mom told me that one of my aunts, Myrna Tagle, had a brain aneurysm as well. I don’t really know too much detail about what happened when she was admitted to the hospital, but I just heard that she past away last night. It really worried me more because it just illustrates how severe and unpredictable this is. Although we weren’t that closely related, its still really heartbreaking and my thoughts and prayers go out to Auntie Myrna’s family.
